Stalking the Wild Haiku

Wild Haiku

Wild haiku

I have been participating in the Poetry Battle Friday over on Twitter sponsored by JD Greyson (@JDGreysonwrites). I’ll admit, I always say I’m not a poet at heart, but I’m really enjoying this weekly exercise. I’m going to pass along some of the results from my foraging.

A quick word on haiku – it is originally a Japanese poetic form composed of seventeen syllables. Usually the topic is related to nature. You’ll notice that around here the topic has no boundaries.
